I'm a freelance writer, tour organizer, and product/gear reviewer specializing in travel, accessibility, and the outdoors. I wrote the guidebook, Cuba by Bike, which premiered #1 on Amazon, and I’ve also contributed to several Fodor’s guidebooks. When I’m not writing for The New York Times, The Daily Beast, Lonely Planet, and National Geographic, I’m organizing group trips to Mexico, Cuba, Jordan, and Egypt and helping travelers plan their own private adventures.

As I am currently overwhelmed caring for my mother, who has Parkinson’s and dementia, I am no longer planning or leading group tours and I am no longer planning individual tours.
